About Us

Detection and Treatment Resources, Inc. (DTR) is an organization that services the needs of local, state, and federal contract services in the area of substance abuse, mental health, and counseling. DTR was established in 1998 with the primary purpose of providing quality outpatient substance abuse and mental health counseling to individuals within the forensic component for government agencies who service individuals in need throughout the Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside Counties.

DTR has a long tradition of successfully treating incarcerated transitioning clients by developing innovative systems and approaches in advanced detection and treatment programs. Our development of advanced evidenced based therapeutic approaches are the result of collaborating with our client agency representatives to understand their criminogenic needs, common goals, and the evolving desires of the individuals who we provide services with.

DTR uses a direct and flexible counseling approach that adapts to the individualized need for each client. Counselors provide cognitive behavioral interventions combined with additional evidenced based therapeutic practices to further develop effective coping strategies designed to maintain sobriety and effective meaningful lifestyle choices.
